Lynn
Koiner has been a full-time professional astrologer since June 1969 and
a professional member of the American Federation of Astrologers.
Since 1984, she has published THE AMETHYST, currently by e-mail,
dedicated to current astrological trends, planetary cycles and how they
affect the individual personally. From 1994 through 1999, she served as
vice president and president of the National Council for Geocosmic
Research, Inc., Baltimore, Maryland, and she currently serves as
newsletter editor. With a research specialty since 1972 on Transpluto,
she was a contributing author on this topic in Noel Tyl's ASTROLOGY'S
SPECIAL MEASUREMENTS.
In
July 2000 and 2003, Lynn received the Sims Pounds Jr. Award from the
American Federation of Astrologers for her research lectures on medical
astrology.
Lynn
lectured at the 2002 United Astrology Congress on the Psychological
Patterns of Disease and Weight Loss and the Transformational Process.
Primary
areas of research: 1) Medical topics, 2) the Solar Max and its impact upon
human behavior; the Nelson Model and solar activity, 3) the phenomena of
UFO abductees, 4) Esoteric Astrology (AABailey) and the Fixed Stars
discussed by Bailey, 5) Transpluto, 6) the Septile Aspect.
Since
the 1970s, Lynn has been examining the psychological patterns shown in the
horoscope as connected with specific diseases. The philosophy being that
correcting a problematic personality characteristic can impact recovery or
prevent onset. The first disease research was Blood Sugar Disorders and
some of this research was published in the Tyl book. Subsequent areas of
research have been Auto-Immune, Alzheimers, Respiratory, Skin, Addiction (obesity),
and IBS.
